The manufacturing facilities of The Koncherry Coir Factories cover an  area of 100,000 Mt. Sq. with a build up area of 75, 000 sq. Mtr.

Koncherry coir factories is the only carpet manufacture in India with  the facility to manufacture polypropylene yarn.

Koncherry’s factories are fully equipped to undertake in house production with handlooms, semi automatic powerlooms and fully automatic jacquard weaving machine.

Production Process:
Yarn is sourced directly from mills/dealers and dyed in our unit where we have facilities for manual, machine dyeing and lab testing. The yarn is then issued to the weavers. The stitching and finishing work is done  in our units, which is equipped with imported machines. The finished  products are thoroughly checked and packed as per international  standards.

Koncherry’s experienced and qualified technical teams supervise every  stage of the production process. All through, we have endeavored to achieve complete integration so as to keep a close check on quality and cost efficiency.

Koncherry is setting up a sophisticated manufacturing facility at the  KINFRA Textile Park, Kakkanad near Kochi. Additionally, a new and  advanced factory is fast nearing completion at an Industrial Park in a neighbouring state.

Effluent treatment:
Our effluent treatment plant was awarded the best in Kerala by the Pollution Control Board among Small Scale Industry segment. A new  facility for Reverse Osmosis is being commissioned.
